Just a little reminder to me about how it feels to be the person who doesn’t understand the language being used in the room…so that I will be more aware to sign when I’m around Deaf people (if I can) and not use signing as a way to make snide remarks about someone (or any other kind of remarks, for that matter) without them knowing I’m doing it.
